Journal Scope

Addiction, Disorders & Therapy is a peer-reviewed open access, scholarly journal on pharmacological and behavioral addictions that brings together research that has been conducted across many disciplines. The journal mainly supports clinical and experimental research, scientific innovations across the entire field of research into addiction and therapy and its related areas.

Addiction is a primary and chronic disease characterized by inability to refrain, behavioral control impairment, and reduced recognition of significant issues with individual behaviors and interpersonal relationships. Addiction is progressive and can lead to impairment or premature death. Methodologies of addiction therapy and related research help addicted individuals to stop the search for compulsive drugs and restrict their use.

Aim and Scope:

The journal aims at serving the international and interdisciplinary scientific and clinical communication, strengthening links between science and policy, and stimulating and enhancing debate quality. We seek for submissions that are not only technically competent, but also original and contain fresh interesting information or ideas for our international readership.
